Learn On the Go With My Top 5 Favorite Podcasts

Every morning, I have a 30-minute commute. I could listen to commercial after commercial on the radio, or pay for satellite radio—or I could actually use the time for some personal education and entertainment, free from iTunes. I love a good podcast that gets me through the traffic smiling, thinking or just simply questioning everything I have ever done with my life—anything that gets my mind off of the bumper in front of me!

So, here are my top five, in no particular order—other than what mood I might be in for the day.

Malcolm Gladwell’s Revisionist History

Build some rapport with interesting conversation after listening to Revisionist History, Malcolm Gladwell's journey through the overlooked and the misunderstood. Every episode re-examines something from the past—an event, a person, an idea or even a song—and asks whether we got it right the first time. Because sometimes the past deserves a second chance—seriously! For example, did Winston Churchill’s best friend really make the most impact on detrimental decisions during the war?

Coach Tom Ferry (can also be found on YouTube)

For more than 20 years, Tom Ferry has earned a reputation as a top trainer, motivator, speaker, author and business coach for professionals in the real estate and financial services industries. His mission is to create short, impactful training sessions three times a week and make them accessible for anyone who wants the training. He’s committed to current and fresh content, each and every week! Many episodes include downloadable attachments for action plans, scripts and marketing pieces. This information is more valuable than paying for a coach, and, most importantly, the podcast is available when I am!

The Tony Robbins Podcast

Need a boost for the day? “Why live an ordinary life, when you can live an extraordinary one?” Tony Robbins, the #1 Life and Business Strategist, has helped over 50 million people from 100 countries create real and lasting change in their lives. I’m in love with Tony. I’m just saying, I would totally marry him tomorrow. The range of these podcasts keeps me intrigued.  He knows how to keep a relationship spicy (even if he doesn’t know he’s in one). Shh…

Super Agents Live: Meet Your Mentor

Maybe not my favorite host, especially since he was rude to yours truly. Yep, I’m episode #250. I talk about how I went from a part-time agent to a full-time agent and all the crazy stuff in between. This podcast interviews tons of top-producing real estate agents to learn their strategies and journeys.

The Brian Buffini Show

Brian Buffini is one of our favorite real estate coaches. Listen to him explore the Greats’ mindset, motivation and methodologies behind true success. He’s an incredible storyteller with a Celtic twist. Sometimes, I imagine I have this really cool Irish great-uncle who enjoys telling me some incredible stories. There is always something to learn.
